About Me

Kirsten Elswood
I paint from my studios in Devon and Cornwall.
I studied Fine Art in Exeter. My work is informed by my environment, as I try and capture the beauty of the Devon landscape and Cornish coastline. My paintings of still life and interiors are influenced by phenomenology and Bachelard's Poetics of Space. Painting is a passion of mine - I find it therapeutic, meditative and challenging!
